为了庆祝Illusionist Digital Arts Studio连续十年成为土耳其最受欢迎品牌,工作室决定开启一个全息数字人项目——一个全息角色Çelik将在舞台上呢与著名的土耳其喜剧演员Cem Yilmaz以及Arcelik的CEO对话。实时动作捕捉技术让Çelik成为一个真实的、类似人类的嘉宾,可以同时与播音员和观众进行对话。
该项目被认为是无线身体和面部动作捕捉、实时渲染、投影和全息图技术的首次同步应用,也是与Cem Yılmaz合作的世界上第一个实时动作捕捉全息角色。
另外,Xsens的实时跟踪和Dynamixyz的面部捕捉头盔大大提高了制作效率,使团队能在短时间内攻克实时全息图的制作难题。工作室创造一个结合动作捕捉技术和编辑程序的综合系统,通过投影系统将Çelik呈现在观众面前,并完成他与嘉宾和观众的实时互动。
On the occasion of celebrating 10 consecutive years as Turkey’s Lovemark; we were tasked with driving a character live on stage, to speak with a famous Turkish comedian and the CEO of Arcelik, as if the hologram were an actual person. The creative idea was to perform an interactive hologram effect via real-time motion capture technology and to make it possible for the audience to engage with Çelik in a personal manner. By this means, it became a real, humanlike guest who could have a conversation with announcers and the audience simultaneously. Wireless body and face motion capture, real-time rendering, projection, and hologram technologies were combined and performed for this event.
All this was made combining Xsens’ real-time tracking with Dynamixyz’s facial capture headset – on an extremely tight deadline. To make a real-time hologram in a very short deadline, using motion Capture Techniques in Holywood films was the primary challenge. Utilizing an integrated system of motion capture technology and editing programs, linked through a projection system our purpose was to create a seamless interaction between animated robot character Çelik and one of the most famous comedians of Turkey, Cem Yilmaz. We prepared rig, skin, and integrate this character into Unity, all to make it move for the live performance, in less than a week. .
The project is acknowledged as the first-ever synchronized application of these technologies.
