城市科学峰会是麻省理工学院媒体实验室城市科学研究组组建的城市科学网络和城市科学、规划、计算机科学、政策与决策、社会科学和快速城市化等领域的其他思想领袖的年度集会。在峰会上，我们将分享研究成果，展示新的研究项目并讨论关于创建更宜居，公平和有韧性的社区的愿景。峰会内容包括主题演讲，分组讨论，工作坊和演示等。

第五届城市科学峰会由来自国立台北科技大学的合作者主持，将重点讨论如何将地方策略应用于面对全球挑战。涉及到的话题包括：多元合作、分布式激励政策、低碳可持续城市、弹性城市、数据隐私、自发非正式改造、无人配送系统、城市热岛效应等。我们将于10月4日举行主题演讲，10月4日至8日举办由城市科学网络成员组织的工作坊。

The City Science Summit is an annual gathering of the City Science Network and other thought leaders in the fields of urban science, planning, computer science, policy and decision making, social sciences and rapid urbanization. We share research, present new projects and discuss our vision to create more livable, sustainable and resilient communities. The summit consists of main stage presentations, breakout sessions, workshops, and demos.

The fifth annual summit is hosted by collaborators at the National Taipei University of Technology and will focus on exploring how to adopt hyper-LOCAL solutions to GLOBAL problems. Topics include: collaborations among multiple stakeholders, decentralised incentive policy, low-carbon sustainable cities, resilient cities, data privacy, innovations for informal development, autonomous delivery system, urban heat island effect, etc. Main stage presentations will be held on the 4th with workshops presented by our City Science Network from 4th and 8th.
