CHIC，位于北京市东城区崇文门西大街9号，它隐藏在比利时使馆旧址院内，是繁华地段里，少有能大隐于市的空间。

CHIC, located at No. 9, Chongwenmen West Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, is hidden in the former site of the Belgian embassy. It is a space that can be hidden in the city and in the prosperous area.

所在院落始建于1901年，前身为比利时使馆旧址，后为紫金宾馆，历史上负责国宾接待任务。是现存较为完整的清后期大使馆建筑群落，国家重点文物保护区域，院落建筑风格为折衷主义风格，比例均衡、格调超然。

在空间中，中央古典造型的岛台是重要的视觉焦点，灵感来自于1866年比利时的代表性建筑——布鲁塞尔司法宫的元素，如围合对称、拱券、庭院、石柱等，既尊重历史，又富含创新。空间的光环境情绪在这里达到至高点。我们把色彩、变化都留给了这里。它时而像夕阳，时而如火焰，时而犹如海洋般深邃，被沉静的蓝色包围。

In this space, the central and classical island is an important visual focus. It is inspired by the elements of the Brussels Palace of Justice, a representative Belgian building in 1866, such as enclosing symmetry, arches, courtyards, stone pillars, etc., which not only respect history, but also are full of innovation. The mood of the light environment of the space reaches its climax here. We leave color and change here. It is sometimes like a sunset, sometimes like a flame, sometimes as deep as the ocean where we are surrounded by a calm blue.

在层层叠加的岛台上，我们在每层的底部都安装了全彩变色的线条灯，随着不同场景的需要，调节色彩。

On the islands stacked on top of each other, we installed color-changing line lights at the bottom of each layer to adjust the colors as needed in different scenes.

这里像是空间调性的引领，带动着整个空间的情绪。

空间的两侧有一些散座，人们放低了声音。桌上的烛光将对面女人有些微醺绯红的脸映衬的更加迷人。在这里，人工光与烛光相互依托。为了烘托这一坎德拉的烛光，人工光“低”到了最大限度的克制。我们用一组人工光烘托一烛光，描绘一坎德拉cd的美。

There are scattered seats on either side of the space, and people lower their voices. The candlelight on the table made the slightly drunk and crimson face of the opposite woman even more charming. Here, artificial light and candlelight highlights each other. In order to contrast the candlelight of this candela, the artificial light is as low as the maximum restraint. We use a set of artificial lights to contrast a candlelight to depict the beauty of a candela.

（发光强度单位最初是用蜡烛来定义的，单位为烛光。1948年第九届国际计量大会上决定采用处于铂凝固点温度的黑体作为发光强度的基准，同时定名为坎德拉，曾一度称为新烛光。）

二楼有几处沙发区。配合几处壁灯，呼应立面几处和空间调性契合的画作，在这里，整体氛围气质毋庸置疑、不由分说般呈现在眼前。令人只想坐下来小酌、放松，感受生活的闲适与自在，欣赏不远处，中央岛台的绚烂与变幻。是个旁观者、观察者，也是参与者。欣赏历史，体验此刻。

There are several sofa areas on the second floor. With several wall lamps, several paintings on the façade are echoed to fit the tonality of the space. Here, the overall atmosphere and temperament are so obvious that people just want to sit down and have a drink, relax, feel the leisure and freedom of life, and appreciate the splendor and changes of the central island not far away. Here, you can be a bystander, an observer, and a participant. You can appreciate history and experience the current moment.

空间的使用功能丰富。我们还为空间预留了一种均匀照度的场景。在这种光环境氛围里，空间照度相对平均，可以用来布置场地等一般性空间使用的场景。
